Hello Friends!,
Sunday a speaker talked about the definition of one of Christ's names (Prince of Peace). Prince:The ruler of a small state. Peace:A state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended. I know if we make Christ the center of our lives, and try to become more like Him, we can get direction on how to have less contention in our homes.
Monday the food pantry went well. I'm thankful I get to help sort so others can have the possibility of having food on their tables. Then we had our Christmas mission meeting. I don't have things to share from what others shared. But I tried to focus more on who Christ is and how I can be better because of Him. The three things that stuck with me are: Selflessness, Peacemaker and a better Listener.
Tuesday we worked on projects, I'm thankful for the sisters I serve with there.
Thursday's session was exciting! There was a new video and the scenery was very pretty. The actors were blondes. Thankful for a slightly different session. Also thankful for dinner from my grandma Gill.
Scripture thought: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
I hope you all have a good CHRISTmas!
Sister Gill
(Also, we have 29 service missionaries in Cache Valley as of right now!)
