Week 32 When joy is our focus

Hello!

Wednesday I helped/shadowed a guy who I might be related to. Half his family trees last name is Gill.

Friday a sister invited me to go to a store with her on lunch break which was fun. Met with the sisters in the evening which was good. Thankful for them.

Saturday in the temple laundry I got to know Sister Godwin who is another service missionary. She's an ordinance worker but got sent to laundry.

Sundays sacrament talk: Meekness is higher like charity. Meekness is when you know how to use a sword and when someone comes at you, choosing not to fight back. Not having contention when it's easy to have. Do we still hold onto things that happened 20 years ago and will hold onto them another 20? Or do we have the strength to let go? Grievance can end with you.

Monday went better than I thought. There wasn't tons of sorting to do though.

Scripture:Alma 36:24..I have labored without ceasing, that I might bring souls unto repentance; that I might bring them to taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste; that they might also be born of God, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 25...the Lord doth give me exceedingly great joy in the fruit of my labors.

I know that when we serve others the  best we can, He will help us with our struggles. We have help on both sides daily.
