Week 29 The Mission Split

Hello all!

Tuesday at institute read Mosiah 18:8-10 and studied the sacrament prayers. We also talked about the fullness of ordinances and covenants. When we only partake of (one) the bread during sacrament or when we get baptized it isn't fulfilled, we also have to take the water and get confirmed for the ordinance to be complete (was the major ones we talked about).

Wednesday I took a second to ask a elderly sister in a wheelchair if she needed help. She needed help getting to the log in page on family search and putting her thumb drive in the computer. Simple actions/help can go a long way.

Saturday evening I went with my sister and an older sister to a family search gathering. My favorite part was the parents of the family singing I Believe in Christ.

Sunday I liked from the speaker:
-How does reading the Book of Mormon everyday bless your life? Do you read it everyday, or at least attempt to and as much as possible? In the evening we had our mission meeting. Never thought I'd be able to say our mission split as a service mission. The only 2 I knew from school are now in the other mission (Brigham and Tremonton/Garland), but we gained a few more. We currently have 5 sisters and 20 elders.

Notes:
  1. -Opposition is in all things; part of fallen natures.
  2. -Opposition causes growth.
  3. -2nd Ne.2:11

Scripture thought: D&C 11:13 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy; 14 And then shall ye know, or by this shall you know, all things whatsoever you desire of me, which are pertaining unto things of righteousness, in faith believing in me that you shall receive.
