Week 19 Have You Thought to Pray?

Hey everyone!

Wednesday I shadowed staff helping missionaries. I ended up shadowing a sister that is adopted and struggles with her family. As I shared things that have helped me the staff later told me she seemed less nervous and more comfortable. I hope I helped her in some way.

Thursday we went back to the Logan temple. It is nice to be back.

Friday I talked to a girl that's a non-member (we talked a little about the church). She is going to school in biology. It was fun to hear her favorite animals especially since I've never heard of them before. I also talked with an older guy and he told me a lot about his pictures and history. I shadowed device transferring and met a few different people the whole day. & got a little help with my family tree. *(At the Family History Center device transferring is taking old film borders, VCR/cassette tapes, older computers etc and switching them to DVDs, putting them on thumb drives etc. thought I'd explain that.)

Saturday the temple had been hectic but it was good busy. I'm thankful that I was assigned there that day.

Monday went well. It was Ember's last day. She's been here for the last few months, it's going to be weird without her. I was nervous I'd be on my own so I prayed this past weekend to not be alone. & I wasn't alone! A high schooler came in and helped along with 2 guys towards the end of day. We left at the same time. Thankful for the help I got!

Weekly Scripture: 2ndNe 30:18: Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men shall at that day be revealed; and Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time. And now, my beloved brethren, I make an end of my sayings. 31:3...For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding; for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding. 32:9 But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.

I've prayed a lot more just for help with little things and goals and it has helped me tremendously! No prayer is to dumb or stupid for Him!

Hope you all had a good week!
