Hi everyone! Another longer email, hope that's okay.
Tuesday evening we had our mission meeting. Two members from the area of 70 came and talked. A few notes I took were: •He blesses us with faith and courage. -Elder Michael J Hess
The second started by asking my mission leaders to share their testimony. When they stood up and shared, I got a very small, quiet confirmation that they are called by Him to be my leaders.
"When you gain a calling, you feel a little portion of His love for those you are serving." -Sister C.
"We are all equal." -Elder C.
•The Spirit is there for a reason.
Wednesday morning was okay. I went up to the tabernacle and found out one of my favorite youtubers family is performing so I went to that.
Thursday at institute we had a sub, he noticed that I'm a lefty and so that was exciting since we both are. Haha. In the lesson I loved "He's going to mess with our lives, we need to have faith in Him to not mad at Him for it." Later after initiatory I went and did service for an elderly couple in my ward. I have been doing that since I submitted my papers to Salt Lake usually on Tuesdays. :)
Friday I went through my tree with Sister Clark. She helped me a lot, we found a huge extended family so that was exciting. She said you only find them when they are ready and want you to! Thankful for her help (and those on the other side)! Also if you remember a few weeks ago, all the BofM's on the table, if you know of someone that could use one, I can send get it to you. Might help someone since it's different languages. Felt like I needed to let you all know.
Saturday was good volunteering. I found another lefty!! Her name is Jennifer. I helped her for the last about 45 minutes with ironing.
Sunday evening when finishing things up with the sisters. We talked to a guy and he said "You sisters are awesome" then turned to me "and your short!" We also almost hit a goose heading to Tremonton w/ family. So that was exciting. (Also my brother got ordained a Deacon. Proud of him!)
Monday at the food pantry we sorted fruits and vegetables. Then we boxed a whole thing of runners meals. Everything smelled really good and looked disgusting, ha. But it was fun.
I just want to finish by saying I am thankful for the my Savior, Jesus Christ. For His atoning sacrifice. I'm thankful for my Heavenly Father and His awareness for All His missionaries. I'm thankful for the gift of the Holy Ghost and the guidance and help received.
Hope you all had a good week!
