Week 34 In Every Thing Give Thanks

Hello!

Wednesday Nov 20th a older sister came in to transfer videos. To see her light up when her youth family appeared was fun to watch.

Thursday was both me and my wards temple night. The wife of my past bishop came and sat by us for dinner at the temple which was fun.

Saturday I showed a few people how to fold clothes in the laundry.

Tuesday the 26th at institute we watched a video of Al Carraway. When she had been meeting with the missionaries, one morning she called the missionaries and blurted out "I want to get baptized!" then got nervous and hung up...When reflected: Sometimes the Spirit gives us little nudges. Recently the Spirit nudged me to change things up. I'm now serving Tuesdays evenings helping with crafts; it's fun and I'm learning. (My P-Day is now Friday because I got my schedule changed until January then changes again.)

Scripture thought: Helaman 3:35 Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God.

When we do the little things, the daily things, God will help us to be the best we can be. He will comfort us and help us.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Sister Gill
