Week 25 Be of Good Cheer

Hello!

Wednesday I shadowed a scanning device I don't know very well from a sister on a different shift. Met with the sisters in the evening and had a spiritual vomit since last week we finished Preach My Gospel. Loved these scriptures Alma 26:27 & 1Ne 17:13.

Thursday we did sealings for the first time at the temple along with a session. It was fun to do and I'm thankful I had my grandma Gill to do that with.

Friday I watched some videos for ancestry. I feel like I'm slowly understanding the websites decently.

Saturday the temple was busy but good.

Sunday Elder Holland came to the spectrum. I didn't learn anything new, but I got good reminders.
Here's a few:
  1. -The church will never leave the earth again.
  2. -Enough about fears, especially in our days. Be of Good Cheer!
  3. -We live in a marvelous time, Because we have the restoration!
  4. -Don't run from the world. Point it towards Christ.
  5. -The only person you should be pleasing is your Heavenly Father. Offend Him not who is our caregiver.
  6. -Be of Good Courage.
  7. -Repent daily, it keeps you safe. (& keeps you humble)
  8. -We have light over dark.
  9. -Christ has already won.

Scripture:

Mosiah 23:10 Nevertheless, after much tribulation, the Lord did hear my cries, and did answer my prayers, and has made me an instrument in his hands in bringing so many of you to a knowledge of his truth. 27 But Alma went forth and stood among them, and exhorted them that they should not be frightened, but that they should remember the Lord their God and he would deliver them.

Life isn't easy, but when you know the Savior is helping you, you start seeing the little tender mercies. He loves each of us & I hope you know that!
