Week 26 Six Months

Hello everyone,

Wednesday I gained a sister.

Thursday was more spiritual. At institute we talked about grace which I read about Wednesday (it's on repeat for me). Grace: The help he extends to us in the form of mercy, love, kindness and the enabling power that allows us to receive eternal life and exaltation. Then left us with a question: what will you do to have effects of grace more active in your life? Change is a big thing.

Friday I went to beginner family search classes to learn more. It was nice to take a step back. I found 1 name to take to the temple.

Saturday I learned how to fold more clothes for endowments. I felt like I was sewing because of the machine used for folding it. I helped with the clean clothes, I almost forgot how to do it because it's been so long. (I have been doing dirty clothes.)

Monday we gained two Elders. Sister Andrus and I got tons of food sorted along with another person. Even though the person struggles with health, I'm thankful that she still shows up and tries. All the Lord asks of us is to do our best.

Scripture: Alma 5:46 Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God. Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit; and this is the spirit of revelation which is in me.

October 2nd marks 6 months since I got set apart as a service missionary. Makes me excited but also sad to know I only have about a year left. Even though this mission isn't what I thought it would be I'm very thankful for what it has brought and have seen blessings come and growing in ways I didn't think I would. I'm thankful for the chances I have to serve Him and others.

Hope you all have a good week!
